Okay people, you all know how I feel about birds right? Right! Well, I have another to add to the list, wasps!
Yesterday afternoon while en route to my local Club Monaco store to check out the newest collection and hopefully do some reviews, the most unimaginable thing happened, j'aime shopping got stung by an evil wasp!!!
Where's the sting you may wonder? Underneath my big toe where the joint is.
How did that happen right? Yeah, so for some reason when I wear open toe shoes I like to lift my toes every time I take a step, and by chance a wasp happened to fly itself between my toe and my sandal while I was taking a step. As I stepped down unknowingly, it attacked my toe.
I'm not going to lie, I cried, I cried like a little girl at the time. I thought I was going to loose my toe, really, seriously. I called my mom hoping to receive some sympathy and comfort, but instead my dad laughed at me as I tried to explain to him what happened. SO thought it was rather funny too, and that something like this would only ever happen to me. It's true, I don't know why, and how (like the incidents with birds growing up) I always manage to find myself in those situations. *sigh*
Okay, now onto the newest installment of "have you heard..?"
Did you know we are getting an Express store in Fairview Mall in Toronto? I am not sure how exciting this news is since I am not an Express shopper myself, but hey I am always happy to see new shops across the border invading our retail landscape.

The wasp bite is just so random! I'm amazed he flew right into your sandal. Hope it's healing well.
I haven't bought much at Express. It's nice to have more options at your local mall though.
Ouch! What a terrible place for a sting. Hope it heals quickly.
