I was at Scarborough Town Ctr yesterday returning a pair of flats at Nine West and spotted the Lululemon store. I dashed inside, saw the scarf and purchased it in the light grey, without trying it on. It's still in my bag, and now I will have to play with it, like you, to see if it's really for me. I don't generally like my scarves to be too bulky, as I find I get lost in it and have no neck. We'll see...are you still leaning on returning yours?
It does have a lot of versatility. I think it could be very wearable in the cooler months.
steph. yep it's going back. i think it may be the texture of the pique that i'm not fancying, i am wondering if i will like the other luon ones better.
desert flower. when i first saw the video i thought it was the coolest thing, funny how things work out, i was so excited about the vinyasa scarf, but ended up not liking it...while i wasn't nearly as interested in the iconic wrap but ended up loving it.
If you like this scarf maybe you should try the American Apparel circle scarf as well! :)

I guess it takes some time to figure out the many many many ways to were it, but yes seem bulky...
fast life: what makes this vinyasa scarf different are the snaps, the scarf opens up and can be worn different ways. where as most circle scarves are a big loop.
lady: i'd love to know which one you end up picking and what your thoughts are on them. I've seen them on the educators and love it on them, but just didn't like it on me.
I've had some time to try out this scarf and though I love the weight of it as a winter scarf (it's soooo soft and snuggly), I'm not sure I'll get much wear otherwise. Honestly, I'm not convinced I'll try the many incarnations. I'd probably just wear it plainly as a scarf. Boring, I know. So the question is, is this $38 scarf worth it???? Wish I were as decisive as you!
i think if you don't have a scarf of this look then it's not a bad price point (consider lululemon). even if you aren't crazy about wearing it the other ways, it's still nice to have options. i actually exchange it for black today, last thing i need is a black scarf, but i think i would get more wear out of it in the black luon. it's totally crazy but when i look at the gray pique, i keep thinking about that paper towel commercial? or is it swiffer one? that talks about the "pockets" trapping more water/dirt. haha, i know i'm insane.
Well I got the black one yesterday since the "static coal" is in my opinion not a nice "grey", let say compare to the gratitude wrap static. Also, the light grey pique didn't help my skin color and yes paper towel look too ;o)
Wear wise, i'm about to loose my mind over this thing (on the variation option). It's very hard to reproduce the fit as seen on lulu Facebook video (if no help from another person). It look all bulky...
I hope to get a hold of the variation in the next few days, if not, I'll have to return it...
I agree with you j'aime shopping, black is more versatile especially a scarf "multi functional"
lady, ita! i haven't come across a gray from lulu that makes me go wow. so i keep buying blacks. ha.

Ok The vinyasa scarf is going back for refund next time i'm going to lulu store.
Its multi function possibilities do not work for me, even after watching many times the video and try my best.
Also, keeping a 38$ +txs scarf makes no sence since I already have a nicer one in black.

lol Lady. Thanks for the update. I don't think I intend on wearing it as anything else other than a wrap or a scarf. I will be keeping my black one.
