Yes, it took many many many phone calls, but I succeeded!! and I bring you the insanely popular and sold out Juicy Couture Lace Shift Dress.
Overall, this is a very adorable dress, lots of details I love. Body of the dress is lined - fully lined and stitched in (awesome!), as suppose to having a removable slip- but I still found it slightly sheer. Fabric content is 100% cotton for the lace and the lining, and 100% silk for the trim (which there really isn't all that much of). This dress being all cotton was very comfortable on and static was not an issue, which is one of my biggest beefs against Polyester or other synthetic fabrics.
Personally, I wouldn't feel comfortable wearing this dress out without some type of hosiery or shorts underneath, but I do think it's do-able. I love the full exposed back zipper, and it was very easy to work with on my own. The bow on the zipper pull is kind of flimsy, but a cute touch I suppose. Fit is true to size, and the shape of this dress won't give you curves. If you are looking for a sexy appeal, this is definitely not it.
Color is not ideal for my complexion. As you can see, it's almost the same color as my skin tone. Juicy Couture calls it Ivory, but please know that it has a pronounced yellow/beigey undertone. Color is also quite dull in real life.
As much as I hate to admit it, I like this dress more than I should. But I certainly don't like it "$373+13% taxes" much, so it will be going back. I pretty much knew that when I quickly slipped it on at the store but still wanted to bring it home to take a closer look.
That's it for now...until I find my next obsession. Hope you are enjoying your Friday.

What a detective story :)
The dress is awesome, I loved the pictures. I would have the same problem with the color. It is very difficult to find a nude tone that would look good against pale skin.
I'm just a crazy obsessive shopaholic. btw suzie, i can't seem to post comments on your blog.
Ah!! THE DRESS! It looks so amazing on you. The price is steep. For me, it would really depend on how much I would wear it. If it's versatile and I'd reach for it often, the price is not a problem. I have to say, it fits you well and suits you. It would be hard for me return :)
Congrats! It is quite beautiful!
thanks desert flower. it really annoys me that with the cad being so high, stuff are still so expensive here. i can't stomach the price.
kristin, the dress is beautiful, but unfortunately not the price tag.
